VISAs, Witch-Doctors and Cannibals

We are officially putting our adoption plans on hold. We are leaving Adoption Land for the Land of IF, aka Fertility Doctor Land. The main reason is that Adoption Land seemed to be short on babies. We didn't look that long, just a few months, but we looked very hard. We looked high and low. And we found some heartache, enough to know it is sketchy territory. So we decided to lug our new, now heavier baggage across the border. We got a visa to travel, (and a VISA for the doc) and visited the witch-doctor, aka reproduction endocrinologist, who was a very hopeful fellow. Cannibals also smile we have heard. The change of scenery is nice, of course there are land mines. But apparently we like to live dangerously.
